Summary of the 2009 MSGHL State Playoffs

The 2009 MSGHL State Playoffs will be held in Colorado Springs March 13th, 14th, and 15th. Each division will have a double elimination tournament. Based on the final standings from the regular season each division will send their top four teams to the state tournament. Each division will be seeded 1 thru 4 based on their finishing order within their respective divisions.

The 2009 MSGHL divisions are as follows:

U12 Recreational
U14 Recreational
U14 Competitive
U19 Recreational
U19 Competitive

The U19 division plays a combined league schedule yet will be split back into Rec and Competitive for the state tournament.

Rec District Playoff: March 27-29th – New Mexico.

U19 – The top finishing team in the MSGHL tournament that has declared their interest will play in a playoff with the Select U19AA ( an independent team) This will be hosted by CAHA. This will take place March 16th in Denver.

U14 – The top 2 teams in the MSGHL tournament that has declared their interest will be selected to go.

Declared U19 teams – Colorado Select U16AA, NCYH, Gunnison.

Declared U14 teams – Select AA, Colorado Springs, Arvada.

If you have declared, you must go to the district tournament. If you are oneof the declared and you are not planning on going, I need to know NOW.
