The State Tournament this year will be hosted by Colorado Select at the Edge Ice Arena and The Ice Ranch February 26 -28th.

The tournament will be a round robin format with a 4 game guarantee to each team.  The cost of the tournament will be $750 per team.The top 4 teams in each division will win a spot at the tournament. The exception to this rule is the U19AA division: The Colorado Select U16AA and the CSAHA U19 team have declared their teams as Tier II teams.  Because of this declaration, they will compete in a Tier II tournament at the end of the season and therefore will NOT be eligible for the MSGHL State Tournament. After those two teams are taken out of the standings, the top four teams will be eligible for the MSGHL State Tournament. In addition, the last couple of years, the winner of the U19 competitive division had the opportunity to play for a spot at the Rocky Mountain District Tier II tournament. That is NOT the case this year since there will be a Tier II play-off. If there are any questions about this, please contact Kathy Dreher at the above e-mail address or phone.

With only a couple weekends of games left in the season, please be sure all games are verified in pointstreak and submitted correctly.  Pending games can hold up finalizing play-off spots.

Players must have played in 50% of the teams’ league games in order to qualify to play in the state tournament.Hotel information will be sent for the tournament weekend.

TEAM MANAGERS: This year, USA Hockey ruled that birth certificates of players should not be carried by managers.  In an effort to make sure the birth date information of each player is accurate, CAHA has come up with a form which needs to be filled out and carried in the team notebook.  This completed form will also be required at check in at the MSGHL end of season tournament.  The form must be notarized to be complete.  All girls on your roster must be included on the form.  Please begin this process now so it will not need to be done at the last minute.

Simply scan the signed USA Hockey Roster and send it to us as a .jpg or .pdf file
