MSGHL Playoffs

Congratulations to West Elk 19U, West Elk 14U and Co Select 12U teams for capturing the MSGHL titles this weekend in Denver. I would also like to pass along congratulations to these teams for being recognized as CAHA State Champions as well.

Special thanks goes to Mowita Rondeaux as tournament director for the countless hours ensuring that the girls all had a fabulous experience. And I would be remiss in not thanking the staff at the Edge Ice Arena for their hospitality.

The balance of competition all year long was great. This carried over to the playoffs as the championship games weren't finalized until the last pool play game of the tournament. A one goal game, as well as an overtime winner were waiting for us in the finals. One of the most exciting tournaments in recent history.

I can't thank the board of directors enough for their hard work this year. Our mission has become clear and our goals are aggressive yet attainable. We are looking to break the mold on conventional wisdom to ensure that we are looking at all creative opportunities to grow the league and get more players at the recreational level to introduce what most of us feel is the best sport on earth to as many players as possible.

We will have some board opportunities come available and we will be having our semi-annual meeting in May. So if you are interested in helping steer this organization please let us know.
